What happens when a PIA fails?

When a PIA fails you can expect to be liable in full for all the debts covered by the PIA (including any arrears, charges and interest that have accrued, less any amounts you have paid to your creditors during the PIA) unless the PIA otherwise provides or the Court orders otherwise. You will no longer be protected from any legal or other action taken by your creditors. The ISI will record the failure of the PIA on the Register of Personal Insolvency Arrangements.
